We are working with our client to find several highly motivated and detail-oriented Contract Document Review Attorneys to support their legal team in a large-scale litigation matter. The Document Review Attorneys will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and coding legal documents in accordance with established guidelines and case requirements. This position requires strong legal research skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines. We are looking for candidates to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze large volumes of documents related to ongoing litigation, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements.
- Conduct document review for relevance, privilege, confidentiality, and responsiveness.
- Apply legal knowledge to assess documents in relation to case strategy, identifying key facts and issues that may impact the litigation.
- Work with case team to ensure proper classification and coding of documents within the review database.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive client information.
- Provide regular updates to the project manager and litigation team on progress, issues, and document production status.
- Assist in the preparation of document productions and discovery responses.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure consistency and accuracy in document review processes.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing, KS highly preferred
- Prior experience in document review, preferably in a litigation context.
- Strong knowledge of e-discovery processes and document management tools (e.g., Relativity, Logikcull, or similar platforms).
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to apply legal concepts to document review.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in document review for litigation matters.
- Familiarity with privilege review and relevant legal doctrines.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-volume document review environment.
